I have heard that people can get high on nutmeg ( the spice ) but you have to eat so much of it that it will make you sick. Now if you put it in the other end, would your body absorb the active indgrediants with out getting sick?

getting high on nutmeg is an urban legend. i tried it many years ago and all i did was burp up nutmeg for a week.
